We about the galaxy s22 and the s22 plus the galaxy s22 and s22 plus bring a design language which is nearly identical to each other both phones have super durable gorilla glass victus plus on the back as well as the front this is something you'll only find on the new galaxy phones for now and it's quite an upgrade for the vanilla model which was made of plastic last year the back panel is flat and the gloss frame is quite durable as well it's made from armor aluminum and of course you get ip68 rated water and dust resistance on both models the s22 and s22 plus both have an amoled display with a 1080p resolution the difference is that the s22s is 6.1 inches while the s22 pluses is 6.6 both models have an adaptive 120hz refresh rate and if you turn on gaming mode you get a responsive 240hz touch sampling rate Samsung claims that these panels are quite bright and that on the s22 plus at least you can get over 1750 nits of max brightness there's also a new feature called vision booster it detects your surroundings and remaps tonal parameters and contrasts on the screen to maximize visibility even under direct sunlight of course you get stereo speakers for your audio too just like last year the chipset is an upgrade though both phones get the same silicon but what that is exactly depends on the region some markets will get the snapdragon 8 gen 1 chipset and others will get an exynos 2200 which should provide comparable high-end performance one major difference between the two devices is the battery capacity the s22 has a 3700 milliamp hour power pack while the s22 pluses is 4 500 milliamp hours while both models support 15 watt wireless charging wired charging is different the s22 supports up to 25 watt wired charging while the plus model can go up to 45 but neither comes with an adapter in the box the interface of the new series phones is one ui 4.1 on top of android 12.

 



 

Compared to previous iterations you get more customization options especially for widgets and with the new theme setup your menus and icons can be set to match the color of your wallpaper and one ui4 has a dashboard for privacy controls from here you can disable the camera and mic access with the touch of a button finally there are the cameras which are the same on both models these include a new 50 megapixel main camera a 10 megapixel telephoto with three times optical zoom and a 12 megapixel ultra wide kit so there you have it guys the s22 and the s22 plus don't seem to bring drastic changes compared to last year's models but the vanilla one gets a glass back and we're curious about the new main camera and the vision booster on those screens
